With the help of Wheaton's Filene Center for Work and Learning, students pursue
internships at many high-tech and scientific companies. Opportunities for work in industry provide a rich context
for on-campus study in computer science. Feeling business-related pressures to meet schedules,
sharing responsibility and viewing software engineering applied to large projects are experiences
that inspire students to complete their studies with renewed vigor. Students pursue internships for
the summer, January break or the entire academic year.
